Table Rock Lake Weekend
September 18–20, 2026
Back at the Lake
We needed a few days to get away, so we headed back to Table Rock Lake for a long weekend. We’ve been coming to this part of the Ozarks for years, and there’s something familiar about being back near the water.
There wasn’t much of a schedule. We spent the weekend driving around, stopping at a few familiar places, eating good food, and just enjoying having nowhere we had to be.
Sometimes those are the best trips—the ones where you don't plan much at all.
Evenings in the Ozarks
The evenings were probably our favorite part. As the sun started dropping behind the Ozark hills, everything seemed to slow down.
We could sit outside, enjoy the view, talk about the day, and watch another evening settle over the lake. Nothing complicated. Just time together.
Sometimes the memories we remember most come from the weekends when we didn’t have much planned at all.
Another Memory Made
Trips like this remind us that getting away doesn't always mean traveling somewhere far from home. Sometimes it's simply about breaking from the normal routine and spending a few days together.
Table Rock Lake has been part of a lot of our memories over the years. This weekend became another one of them—and another little piece of our story.
